The following scholarships have been publicized to the Seaside High School Counseling Office for the Class of 2022.

Clatsop County Master Gardener Association Scholarship 

This scholarship recognizes an outstanding Clatsop County students(s) who express an interest in horticulture. Future fields of study can include but are not limited to forestry, plant biology, agriculture, landscape architecture/design, floristry, landscape maintenance tech, education and earth sciences. Scholarship value: Up to $2000

Deadline: Tuesday, April 25th.

Carol Homme Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Carol Homme Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually in memory of Carol Homme, a former member of the Cannon Beach Chorus. We are proud to honor her by offering a scholarship to a graduating high school senior vocalist who is currently enrolled in a choral ensemble, and who is planning to continue choral singing at a four-year college or university. The amount of the scholarship will be determined by the quality of the audition. 

NOTE: Completed applications will be accepted by mail only, using the official application of the Chorus. Applications submitted by fax, email, or mobile device will not be accepted. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. The scholarship application must be postmarked by April 8. Auditions/Interviews will occur before April 29.

Ashlee Martens Memorial Art Scholarship

This $1000.00 scholarship is in honor of Ashlee Renee Martens. Graduate of
Astoria High School and The Art Institute of Portland. A very talented graphic
designer with a passion for art and determination to achieve her goals. We would
like to help another student who shares that same passion in honor of Ashlee.

Requirements:
* 2023 graduating senior interested in pursuing a career in design art or art therapy
* 2.5 or higher GPA
* must attend an accredited or licensed educational institution minimum 3/4 to full
  time

Please return application by April 15, 2023.

United Finnish Kaleva Brothers & Sisters Astoria Lodge Scholarship

Applicants must have direct relationship to U.F.K.B.& S. Astoria Lodge by being a member, or descendant of a member of a member in good standing.

Clatsop County Safety Council Scholarship

The Clatsop County Safety Council started over 50 years ago as the Timber Operator's Council and is the oldest, continuous, logging association in the Northwest. CCSC is looking for graduating seniors who are planning on attending a college or technical school in pursuit of a Forestry degree or a career in one of the supporting industries.

1 to 4 scholarships will be awarded each year in the amounts of $500-$2000, varying on applicants and funds available. Deadline to apply is May 1st.
