The following scholarships have been publicized to the Seaside High School Counseling Office for the Class of 2024.

United Finnish Kaleva Brothers & Sisters
Astoria Lodge Scholarship

Only high school students on track to graduate in the current year will be considered.
Applicants must have direct relationship to U.F.K.B. & S. Astoria Lodge by being a member, or descendant of a
member in good standing. Applications are due May1st.

Assistance League Columbia Pacific Operations Scholarship

Senior students who desire to attend an accredited Oregon Community College or a Trade School may apply. Must have a GPA of 2.00 and have had some volunteer experience either in your school and or community. Assistance League is looking for students who have educational goals for their future. Please also submit any participation in any school activities or jobs held during high school years.

The student must represent responsible citizenship, including social media. Any bullying, illegal activity or questionable social media activity may not be considered.

CLATSOP COUNTY
MASTER GARDENER ASSOCIATION
SCHOLARSHIP 2024

Established in 2001, this scholarship recognizes outstanding Clatsop County students who
are pursuing post-secondary education in horticulture or related fields such as (but not
limited to) forestry, plant biology, agriculture, landscape architecture/design, floristry,
landscape maintenance technology, education, and earth sciences. Clatsop County Master
Gardener Association (CCMGA) provides research-based home horticulture advice,
education and outreach to our community. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide
incentives to those whose education and career paths align with our mission.
Scholarships range from $500 to $3,000.

Clatsop County Safety Council

CCSC is looking for graduating seniors who are planning on attending a college or technical
school in pursuit of a Forestry degree or a career in one of the supporting industries.
Preference is given to students who have family working in the logging industry, but the
scholarship is not limited to these students. Please list your ties to logging or forestry if possible.
GPA is not as important as a good work ethic and citizenship for this scholarship.

1. Applicants should write a short essay explaining their goals and work experiences.
2. A letter of recommendation from one teacher and one employer should also be included.
3. One page resume

One to four scholarships are awarded each year in the amounts of $500 to $2000 depending
on funds available and the number of qualifying applicants.
Application deadline is May 15th, 2024
