Transcript Requests: 

** Transcripts CAN NOT be sent to a personal email. Transcripts can only be FAXED, PICKED UP BY HAND, OR MAILED TO PHYSICAL ADDRESS**

Current Students:
Counseling staff can print an unofficial transcript at any time.  
To mail a transcript to a college or university, please fill out a transcript request form and submit it to our counseling secretary Mrs. Thompson.  Please allow at least 3 days for the transcript to be mailed. 
Alumni & Past Students:
To request a transcript, please contact the counseling office by email or phone and submit a transcript request form (located at the top of the page under the blue "FORMS" hyperlink.
Please indicate the following:
  • year you graduated or stopped attending SHS
  • your name at the time you were a student,
  • the location where you would like your transcript sent. 
There is no charge for this service.

Please note - anyone over the age of 18 must request the transcripts themselves -- parents may not call on a former student's behalf.

Scholarship Opportinities: 2019-2020

The following scholarships have been publicized to the SHS Counseling Office for the class of 2020.

  • OCCA Scholarship: Deadline December, 1st 2019

Scholarships will be awarded to an Oregon High School and/or All-Star Gym Cheerleaders who will be graduating in the class of 2020. Scholarships awarded will be NON-renewable and will total a minimum of $1,000. Scholarships may be awarded to cheerleaders from all classifications (1A-6A).

To Qualify:

Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA by the end of their Junior Year.

  • Renaissance Scholars Program: First Deadline December, 15th 2019

$4,000 scholarship that is renewable each year.

To Qualify:

First in your family to attend college

(If older siblings are attending please still apply)

3.0 GPA or higher

Must demonstrate financial need

EFC (Estimated Family Contribution) under $6,000

(EFC is found on FAFSA Student Aid report)

  • Al Forthan Memorial Scholarship: Deadline February, 3rd 2020

The Al Forthan Memorial Scholarship awards scholarship to Oregon high school seniors who come from families impacted by addiction. One scholarship in the amount of $10,000 will be awarded, in addition to many others in various amounts.

To Qualify:

must be a high school senior that has been raised by a parent or guardian who has experienced addiction, or be a student who has abused alcohol and drugs and is now pursuing recovery.

  • The North Coast Scholarship Foundation (NCSF): Deadline February, 10th 2020

Offering up to eight, one-year, two-year, and four-year scholarships.

Up to $20,000 ($5,000 per year for four years)

Application package must be completed and submitted NO LATER than February 10, 2020.

To Qualify:

Scholarship is awarded based on merit and NOT financial need.

Will be attending an accredited Community College or 4-year College/University in the United States.

Application package includes:

·         Application form (found in counseling office)

·         Copy of high school and college transcript (s) (If appropriate)

·         Two person letters of reference (See application form for details)

·         Writing Sample (see application form for details)


  • Oregon Community Leadership Scholarship: Deadline March, 6th 2020

Four-year renewable scholarship-mentorship program totaling $16,000 per student.

Four students will be selected.

 Established by NFL quarterback, Joey Harrington

To Qualify:

Achieve a high school diploma.

Completed an application to at least one Oregon collegiate program (college OR trade school)

Committed to attend an Oregon college or trade school in the 2020/21 academic year.

Completed standardized testing (ACT or SAT).

Proof of community involvement/volunteerism.

Have financial need.

Submit a completed application online. Which includes a one-page personal essay and two letters of recommendation.

Transcripts are not required.

No application fee.
